Excursions in Crimea allow you to visit one of the most outstanding symbols of the southern Crimean coast – the Swallow's Nest (‘Lastochkino Gnezdo’) which reminds a tiny medieval knight’s castle. It has been built in 1912 on the Cape of Ai-Todor according to the design project by Sherwood for an oil industry businessman Steingel. This building is a beautiful architect monument which is rising on top of the 40-metre (130 ft) high Aurora Cliff. Endless sea spaces open up to an eye from here. And from the sea side the palace looks impressive: it is like a finishing touch in the landscape appearance of this place. The palace received a new host and a new status after the World War I, a restaurant at the Black Sea, and today there is an exhibition hall.

A sea voyage from the Swallow’s Nest will give you an opportunity to find out more about Big Yalta from the other side. The guide will tell you about the history and nature of these places, will show you the Sail Cliff (‘Skala Parus’) where an eagle came down stately, the Ai-Todor lighthouse being built in the second half of the XIX century in the Kharaksky Park, the White Livadia Palace (‘Livadiisky Dvorets’) surrounded by greenery. And when the sun goes down the view to the evening Yalta is totally different. This place is open for anybody, it can become the beginning to get to know the southern coast better, as well as the final stage, and probably the only place you managed to visit. However if you have already visited the seafront then you will definitely never forget your vacations in Crimea!
